Here we go . . .
Is this some New Year New Me stuff? Maybe.
But I’ve been wanting to share my experience as a Special Needs dad long before midnight on January 1.
So I’m following God’s leading and writing.
I’m writing about my experience as a Christian and as a Special needs dad.
To make it simple - I’m trying show other special needs parents that someone else gets it.
I’m trying to show them they’re not alone.
I’m trying to help them navigate the stressful peaks and valleys of first words and grocery store meltdowns.
I’m trying to build a community of Christian special needs dads who support one another.
And - even though I’m not supposed to say this - I don’t know what I’m doing.
This is out of my comfort zone. Aren’t blogs so 2010 and podcasts are a thing now?
It’s much easier for me - as a professional marketer - to polish things. To only share the good and not the bad.
But because it’s necessary for special needs dads to hear, I’ll be honest. I’ll be transparent. I’ll be real.
Ultimately I’m writing about my experience and leaving everything else to God to take care of the rest.
So I invite you to follow along. Share feedback. Share your story with me. And let’s go through this stuff - good and bad - together.
